The Reverend Dr John Hall

Director for Social Responsibility, Coventry Diocese

Revd Dr John Hall, Director for Social Responsibility in the Diocese of Coventry since 2001, became Chair of the regional West Midlands Faiths Forum in 2003. A former senior probation officer, he is now an Anglican clergyman and academic. In 2005 he completed his M. Phil. at Birmingham University on race and racism and in 2006 his doctoral thesis "'Race' and Silence: the discourse of reticence" at the University of Warwick. He is an associate lecturer at Birmingham University and the Queens Theological Foundation.

John is currently Member for Faiths on the West Midlands Regional Assembly (WMRA). Among his responsibilities there, he acts as Vice Chair of the Equality & Diversity Partnership. John represents the views of WMFF on national and regional strategic bodies.
